Little Tor is one of ten elementary schools in the Clarkstown Central School District. With approximately 290 students in grades K through 5, there's a great student to teacher ratio. It's easy to get to know everyone at Little Tor!

Every student has the chance to learn in the classroom.... but at Little Tor there are also opportunities to learn outside the classroom through the spirit of challenge and self-expression.

		PTA Reflections Contest In the PTA Reflections Contest, Second Grader, Ian, won First Place in the District in the Fine Arts Category. He was then entered in the State level competition. To see his picture, illustrating the theme: Suddenly You Turn Around and ....

During the school year, many such opportunities are available for the students to use their initiative, creativity and talent to achieve a new goal.

In the Fifth Annual Clarkstown District Invention Convention, held last spring, four Little Tor students won honors. The first place division winners were guest presenters at the New City Rotary Meeting in June.

The convention was open to all students in K-6 in the Clarkstown schools. Projects were judged according to creativity, usefulness, and the oral presentation for the judges.
