Ms. Jennifer Langer, Ms. Dawn Robertson and Mr. Mike Rutter
In our See It, Solve It unit, kindergartners worked with clay. Students first watched a videotape of Becky Wible, a claymator, make a mouse out of clay. As an extra credit project, students could choose a scene from a book to create as a diorama. Then decorating a shoebox with construction paper, and using clay and collage materials, they created characters and other objects from their favorite scene. The dioramas were displayed in the classroom and hallways. Students were encouraged to write their own story and publish it in the Publication Center. |

The wonderful thing about "Tiggers"... are "Tiggers" are from Little Tor... Their heads get full of the knowledge, when they walk through our door... They're learning, playing, dancing, singing... They're having fun, fun fun... The most fabulous wonderful thing about "Tiggers" is we have the only ones! |
